Income Stats – September 2009

September was extremely hard month for me. First off, Google suspended my account, accusing me of promoting stuff that I never promoted. In Sep my most profitable campaign simply died, it stopped making any money. This was that sort of campaigns that you run for years and the conversions are stable, and you know for sure that whatever happens, you’ll be in black ink at the end of th month.

My SEO site was banned from Google and I lost over 5000 monthly traffic that also converted in sales.

2 weaks ago I was sure that my whole business was killed, but now I could reactivate my Google Adwords account and keep my 2 profitable campaigns alive. I also started promoting my sites that were created year ago and “waited” until I play with PPC and ClickBank.

Now I’m 100% sure that Clickbank infoproducts are really tough with PPC now. The campaign I wrote in my prevous post about also stopped making sales at all, and turned into loser from pretty promising break-even.

What I stated to do is applying SEO to my landing pages that I had after testing different CB offers. With free traffic, I can be profitable – easy.

I’m looking at my September stats now and see that only physical goods campaigns are profitable, and all infoproduct campaigns are losers.

Now, I’m having only 2 profitable and active campaigns under my belt, and working on SEO projects to ensure free incomes, before I revive my PPC experiments.

OK, now the stats for PPC only (not including SEO sales):

Income: 2608.13$

PPC Cost: 2761.06$

Net Loss: -152.93$

ROI: -5.54%

Not bad, considering that my ex-profitable campaign lost 209$ and other CB campaigns also lost some money. Thanks God, my adwords account is back – real luck as I know many people got their account banned completely.
