SEO Case Study – 4 Sites: Current Rankings
Before I start massive link building campaigns, I’ve decided to check the current positions of my sites in Google. Since on-page optimization is mostly all I did, except maybe several backlinks from sites like Digg and Propeller, it would be interesting to check if my sites appearing at least in top 100 results.
Before I check SERPs, let’s see again at my competition analysis table:
And now I see the site #2 rankings, which are pretty high:
I also found that site #3 is also ranked within top 100 resutls:
Not bad at all, considering that I’m just about to start building some backlinks to my sites. Sites #1 and #4 aren’t still in top 100, well it’s time to improve the situation.
It is important for me to determine what factor (or combination of factors) affect the speed of getting to the top 10 – top 5 in Google. Why it’s so critical? Simple, I’ll be able to find keywords and build mini-sites around them and get to top 10 in weeks or days, not months. The final goal is not bragging about SEO skills, but to get traffic and convert it into money FAST.
Ok, now I’m already started my link building, and once I get some results, I’ll update my blog, so stay tuned!!

Cool, looking good so far. I want to see what you’ll do with the sites and if can get any significant amount of traffic. And most importantly, the conversions!
BTW, what software are you using for the SEO analysis seen on screenshots?

HI!
Sure, I’ll update my blog on every tactic that I’ll use to get my sites to the top. I’m still not sure about the success, as I’ve chosen 4 different competition levels and it would be interesting to see what I’ll get as a result.
The software is called Market Samurai, I think it’s really good for SEO analysis. However, I also use Traffic Travis which you can get for free, it basically does all the same things like Market Samurai. just type in Traffic Travis into search engine and you can get it. For example, I check the rankings that you see in this post with Traffic Travis.

I wanted to see all of them in top 10 by the end of December, interesting if I can make it

Strange Giannis but when I comment from the site (not my admin panel) I have the same issue! But anyway I see my comment live after that 404 stuff. I think it’s some theme bugs maybe?
I’ve made blog commenting recently and faced the same problem on wordpress couple of times.
